The head of Rewaq Baghdad Center for Public Policy, Mr. Abbas Al-Anbouri, made a visit to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, during which he met with His Excellency the Arab Republic of Egypt in Baghdad, Mr. Walid Ismail. The visit dealt with the nature of Egyptian-Iraqi relations and economic cooperation between the two countries, with an emphasis on the need to activate the role of research centers. Against the background of this cooperation, Mr. Walid Ismail promised to create possible conditions for Iraqi and Egyptian research centers, including the Baghdad Riwaq Center, in order to take their role in the planning and studies process to reach real practical results with mutual positive dimensions. He called on the president and members of the center to visit soon to Cairo, the program of which includes a visit to the Library of Alexandria as well as Al-Ahram Center for Strategic Studies, in addition to Egyptian research and knowledge centers and institutions. In turn, the head of the center, Mr. Abbas Al-Anbouri, invited His Excellency the Egyptian ambassador to visit Rewaq Baghdad Center to hold a dialogue symposium during which he would discuss the steps, dimensions and goals of Iraqi-Egyptian cooperation, as well as the framework of joint tripartite cooperation between Egypt, Iraq and Jordan.
