Rewaq Baghdad Center for Public Policy, headed by Mr. Abbas Al-Anbouri, hosted a delegation from the European Parliament in Iraq, represented by representatives of the European Parliament’s Foreign Relations, Security and Defense Committee, Mike Wallace and Claire Daly, and their assistants.

During the meeting, a dialogue took place about the role of the European Union in establishing internal stability in Iraq, promoting civil peace, and the impact of the withdrawal of foreign forces in light of the continuing threats of the ISIS terrorist entity to inside Iraq.

Mr. Abbas Al-Anbouri explained the importance of study and research centers in providing data based on reality, impartially, independently, and away from the effects of political polarization.
