Baghdad, the capital of Arab tourism, potentials and challenges, was the title of the symposium held by the Baghdad Center for Public Policy, which hosted the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Tourism, Antiquities and Expatriates, Mr. Omar Hassan Al-Alawi, and was attended by an important elite of parliamentarians, academics, intellectuals and specialists in tourism affairs.

 
The symposium addressed the most important preparations aimed at ensuring the success of Baghdad's tourism portfolio, coinciding with its announcement as the Arab
Tourism Capital for the current year.
With the imminent announcement of a hotel licensing round by the government, which contributes to laying the foundation stone for a number of tourist facilities and establishments in order for Baghdad to be at the forefront of countries in this field, especially since the opportunities are great and favorable for Baghdad to be in the lead, this enhances the security stability and the government’s serious desire for the success of the file and overcoming the obstacles and challenges facing it.
