A special symposium was held at the Baghdad Public Policy Center on developments in Syria. The symposium was attended by a select group of researchers, academics, and media professionals. Participants discussed the repercussions of the situation in Syria and the opportunities and threats to Iraqi national security following the change in the Syrian political regime. The session concluded with a set of recommendations and conclusions for dealing with these developments, which will be communicated to Iraqi decision-makers.
