Rewaq Baghdad Center for Public Policy, represented by its board member, Mr. Ahmed Al-Helou, participated with a group of research centers in Iraq in the Turkish-Iraqi Research Centers Summit in Ankara, which was organized by the Turkish Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) in cooperation with the Naram Sen Foundation for Dialogue and Development. The participants discussed the issues and crises of the region from the perspective of Iraqi-Turkish relations.
In addition to the developments in the Syrian arena, Trump's new presidential term and its repercussions on the situation in the Middle East, the summit will also address the important role played by think tanks in bringing viewpoints closer together and formulating future visions for political decision-makers in both countries.
It is noteworthy that the Baghdad Center for Public Policy was a pioneer in opening up horizons of cooperation in the research and academic fields with important Turkish centers, including the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM).
