In cooperation with the Center for Strategic and International Studies at the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad, the Baghdad Center for Public Policy held a dialogue seminar on the file "The Iraqi Economy: From Centralization to Dispersion," which is the same title as the file in the eleventh and final issue of Al-Riwaq magazine.The symposium, which was held in Dr. Jihad Al-Hasani Hall at the University of Baghdad, began with an introductory speech about the center and its projects, presented by Dr. Alaa Hamid Idris, a member of the center’s board of directors and editor-in-chief of Al-Rawaq magazine. He also referred to Al-Rawaq magazine and the nature of the materials published in it, up to its latest issue, which dealt with the progress of the Iraqi economy through a group of writers and researchers who took turns writing in it in a purposeful and objective manner.The symposium focused on various topics, the most prominent of which were:
The Dilemma of Corruption in Iraq and the Concept of State Capture by Dr. Hamid Rahim Janani
Digital Transformation in Iraq by Dr. Muhammad Ismat Al-Bayati
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Map and Development Standard by Dr. Salam Hamel Brighish
The symposium, which featured a prominent elite and academic presence, was moderated by Dr. Sattar Jabbar Alai, in addition to discussions and interventions between researchers and attendees.
