About the Book

This book is not, in itself, an evaluation of the past twenty years of experience. Rather, it serves as a clarification and response to a number of articles published in foreign languages that described the Iraqi experience in inaccurate and unjust terms, borrowing concepts that were developed, expanded, and generalized through the Western experience, and then applied to our country without proper relevance or suitability.

Therefore, we found it necessary to deconstruct these concepts and compare them to our own reality. This required moving from one topic to another according to the different concepts presented. At times, we elaborated to provide greater clarification, and at other times, we paused to avoid straying from the main subject
