About the Book

Following the publication of the book in two volumes, which included twenty-seven titles by twenty-five distinguished researchers, the feedback from some critics, combined with a growing sense of the need to cover additional topics, led to the launch of a third volume. This new installment comprises ten titles by ten researchers. Thus, across the three volumes of this project, the ideas and contributions of thirty-five esteemed scholars and researchers have been brought together, addressing thirty-seven topics directly related to Iraq's present and future.

The future of culture does not merely refer to the future of writing, literature, poetry, arts, or what is commonly known as "soft culture." All of these are outcomes and reflections of culture—varied expressions of it. Even the practice of religious rituals and ceremonies is nothing more than a manifestation of individual and societal culture.
