In cooperation with the Orsam Center for Middle East Studies and in the presence of the head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Mr. Arshad Al-Salhi, the Azerbaijani Chargé d’Affaires in Baghdad, His Excellency Mr. Nasir Mamedov, and a number of researchers and academics,Rewaq Baghdad Center for Public Policy held a dialogue symposium on bilateral Iraqi-Turkish economic cooperation, which addressed important and vital aspects in the process of relations. The bilateral relationship between the two countries serves their common interests and enhances bilateral cooperation, away from policies of mixing cards and influencing the paths of their success and sustainability. At the beginning of his speech at the symposium, the head of the Orsam Center, Mr. Ahmed Uysal, stressed that Turkey has long positive historical relations with Iraq that should not be subject to decline for any reason, and that the Turkish government is keen on this because of the great resources and capabilities that Iraq enjoys. The Orsam Center is keen to Building and rehabilitating it. During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Baghdad Riwaq Center and the Orsam Center for Middle Eastern Studies to develop cooperative activities in research areas of common interest, such as completing joint research projects, training the cadres of both parties, seconding researchers and lecturers, and providing research services.
