On the occasion of the publication of the book (The Iraqi Personality Between the Atmosphere of Cafes, Palaces and Minarets), by Al-Rawak Publishing and Distribution House and Library, a celebratory session was held, in which the author reviewed a group of problems, roles and transformations that this personality went through.
The author identifies three references to the Iraqi character: the authority that was imprinted by the palace images, the social interactions that were formed by the cafes, as well as the role of the religious factor that took the form of the minarets.
The author concludes that the relationship between these components is an unreconciled relationship, and sometimes takes the form of conflict, to the point where it is impossible to form a nation, which calls for working to create a true citizenship that would reduce the intensity of the conflict and make the relationship of a nature based on harmony.
The session was moderated by Dr. Alaa Hamid, and was attended by a group of researchers, academics, and interested parties, who enriched it with their opinions and ideas. The session was held in the Jaafar Abu Al-Tamman Hall, the Baghdad Center for Public Policy.
