A dialogue session on the impact of the 25th Gulf Championship and its future gains
In the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, the Rwaq Baghdad Center held, today, Wednesday 1-2-2023, a dialogue session related to the impact of the 25th Gulf Championship on Iraqi-Gulf Arab relations.
The session analyzed the “Gulf 25” tournament, and its impact on the relations between the two sides, from its political, economic, social and cultural aspects.
In his intervention, the Minister stressed the importance of the topic of the dialogue session and what it covered in presentation and detail, pointing out that the fruits of heroism in Basra included several aspects, perhaps the most important of which was changing the stereotypical image that was known about the general atmosphere in Iraq, which was completely refuted by the Gulf media and guests. Championship.
He added that the success of the organization made the tournament the largest among previous tournaments in terms of public attendance, not to mention the unprecedented media coverage and great popular interest, which will pave the way for the possibility of hosting other tournaments in various cities of Iraq, in addition to other gains, including media, commercial, and others, that participate in The success of all the supporting institutions, which worked and worked hard to achieve success for Iraq in general.
The Ministry presented an exploratory study of the attitudes of the Gulf fans during the tournament, prepared by a research team from the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the direct guidance of Minister Al-Mubarqa. It dealt with important social aspects that monitored the attitudes of the Gulf fans. The study was presented by the expert, Professor Dr. Khaled Hantoush.
