Rewaq Baghdad Holds Open Dialogue Session on Regional and International Transformations and Their Impact on Iraq and the Region.

In an open and candid discussion, Rewaq Baghdad Center for Public Policy convened a session addressing the nature of ongoing regional and international transformations and their implications for the security and stability of Iraq and the broader region.

The session hosted a distinguished group of Egyptian academics and media figures, including:

  • Dr. Nevine Abdel Moneim Massad – Professor of Political Science, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
  • Dr. Emad Gad – Deputy Director of the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies.
  • Dr. Osama Saraya – Former Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram Newspaper.
  •  Mr. Abdel Latif El-Menawy – Former Head of News at Egyptian State Television.
  • The event was also attended by a group of Iraqi academics, policymakers, and public figures.

 

Moderated by Dr. Alaa Hameed Idrees, a member of Rewaq Baghdad, the session explored several pressing topics, including the ongoing war in Gaza, the outcomes of the recent Baghdad Summit, Egyptian-Iraqi relations, and other major developments currently shaping the region.
