In light of what emerged from the second dialogue session to discuss “Women’s Constitutional Rights and the Economic System in the 2005 Constitution,” the members of the Dialogue Committee of the Project to Evaluate the Performance of the 2005 Constitution conducted a consultative dialogue session through which the goals and important points that will be adopted in the final report were identified, among which are: A set of recommendations related to women’s rights and freedoms in the constitution, in addition to calling for improving their economic and life reality through activating the constitutional texts or by recommending the adoption of other texts in a way that is appropriate and enhancing the status of women socially and politically. It is noteworthy that the project is currently being implemented in partnership between the Rwaq Baghdad Center for Public Policy and the Foundation IDEA for Democracy and Elections.
