A symposium was held by Al-Rawaq Center in Baghdad, with a large presence of elite professionals, researchers, and experts in the field of agriculture. The symposium discussed the current state and future of agriculture in Iraq, featuring former Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akram Al-Hakim. The discussions focused on the challenges and problems facing the agricultural sector, as well as possible solutions to overcome them. Additionally, the symposium addressed the institutional, technical, environmental, and technological obstacles that directly contributed to the decline of agriculture in Iraq. These topics, along with others, represented the vision of Dr. Akram Al-Hakim and his experience in managing the Ministry of Agriculture in a previous period, which he presented in his recently published book, printed by Al-Rawaq Publishing House and Library.
